Nearly all of them were in USDC. By late August the protocol had passed 205 million agent transactions and $53 million in volume.

Agents made 14 million transfers over x402 in 30 days: 7.3 million on Base and 5.6 million on Polygon, almost all in USDC. By late August the protocol had handled more than 205 million agent transactions worth $53 million in total, an average of under 30 cents.

Since August 17, Massive sells stock market data to agents per request over x402. On August 27 Coinbase outlined tools that let agents manage crypto accounts, execute approved transactions and pay in USDC automatically.
