Meta Superintelligence Labs ships coding agent Muse Code
The terminal-based agent runs on Muse Spark 1.2. Meta was also reported to be restructuring its AI teams again.
The product
Muse Code, released on August 5, is a terminal-based coding agent powered by Muse Spark 1.2 that installs on macOS and Linux with one command. It is the first commercial product from Meta Superintelligence Labs, led by Alexandr Wang.
Background
It enters a coding-agent market with tools from Anthropic and OpenAI, and with SpaceX, which closed its Cursor purchase in August. Meta was also reported to be restructuring its AI teams for the fourth time in six months.
