AMD data center revenue doubles; Anthropic signs up for 2 GW
AMD reported record revenue of $11.5 billion in the second quarter. Data center is now 58% of revenue.

AMD reported $11.5 billion in revenue and $2.3 billion in net income on August 4. Data center revenue rose 107% and made up 58% of the total. Lisa Su: "We delivered an excellent quarter, with record revenue and profitability as Data Center revenue more than doubled year-over-year."
Customers
AMD signed a strategic partnership with Anthropic to deploy up to 2 gigawatts of Instinct MI450 GPUs in Helios racks, and Microsoft will deploy Helios at scale on Azure for frontier model inference.
