Nvidia and Google want faster grid hookups for flexible AI

Nvidia, Google and Emerald AI formed an alliance so AI data centers that cut power use at peak hours can connect to the grid faster.

Anthropic has agreed to use what is planned as Australia's largest data centre. The project is valued at 32 billion Australian dollars.

Waymo signed with Nihon Kotsu and GO to launch Japan's first fully driverless commercial taxi service in Tokyo in 2027.
