Alexa+ launches in India with Hindi support
Amazon opened its Alexa+ AI assistant in India in Early Access. It can switch between Hindi and English even mid-sentence.

On September 16, Amazon opened its Alexa+ AI assistant in India in Early Access. It speaks Hindi and English and can switch between them mid-sentence. It holds longer conversations than the old Alexa and keeps track of context.
Pricing
It is free for everyone during Early Access. After that it is free for Prime members and costs 2,000 rupees a month for Prime Lite, Prime Shopping Edition and non-Prime customers.
What it can do
Alexa+ handles multi-step tasks. It orders groceries from Amazon's quick-commerce service Amazon Now, switches smart home devices on and off, and books food on Swiggy, tickets on District and travel on Tripadvisor and MakeMyTrip. When orders move from apps into voice chat, whether a brand is connected to the assistant decides the sale.
