Gemini in Chrome on Android starts handling bookings for users
Google opened Gemini in Chrome to all US Android users on August 18. Auto Browse, on paid plans, handles tasks for them.

Gemini in Chrome summarises articles, answers questions about the page and connects to Google apps such as Calendar and Keep. From August 18 it is rolling out to all Android users in the US.
Auto Browse
The agentic Auto Browse is rolling out to Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers on Android in the US, for tasks like booking parking, updating a recurring order, organising travel, comparing products and making reservations. Gemini shows its plan first and users can take over or stop it. Limits are 20 multi-step requests a day on Pro and 200 on Ultra.
