BIST 100 falls 2.79%, drops below 12,000
The selloff triggered by the fund investigation continued on Wednesday. The index lost 343 points to close at 11,947.

The BIST 100 closed down 343.4 points at 11,947.18 after opening 0.68% lower at 12,206. Financial leasing and factoring fell the most at 8.09%, while sports rose 0.26%.
Why
The drivers were the fund investigation, unwinding of leveraged positions, global bond yields and oil prices. Investors are watching the steps promised after the economy meeting chaired by President Erdoğan the day before.
