It can switch between Hindi and English even mid-sentence. ## What launched On September 16, Amazon opened its Alexa+ AI assistant in India in Early Access. It speaks Hindi and English and can switch between them mid-sentence. It holds longer conversations than the old Alexa and keeps track of context. ## Pricing It is free for everyone during Early Access. After that it is free for Prime members and costs 2,000 rupees a month for Prime Lite, Prime Shopping Edition and non-Prime customers. ## What it can do Alexa+ handles multi-step tasks. It orders groceries from Amazon's quick-commerce service Amazon Now, switches smart home devices on and off, and books food on Swiggy, tickets on District and travel on Tripadvisor and MakeMyTrip.
